Cookie Policy
Last updated October 15, 2026 · Konyx Industrial Intelligence
Which cookies Konyx uses, what each one is for, how long it lasts, and how to turn off the ones you don't need. Short version: one cookie keeps you signed in, one carries a new company's sign-up to payment, and analytics runs only when it is switched on — and never with Global Privacy Control.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website keeps in your browser and sends back on each visit. Konyx uses them for two things: to keep you signed in to the company app, and — when we switch analytics on — to understand how Konyx is used.
This policy covers this website, the company app at app.konyxai.com and the link vendors use to quote. It adds detail to section 6 of our Privacy Policy.
2. Cookies we use
konyx_sessionEssential · company appkonyx_signupEssential · company app_ga, _ga_…Analytics · site and app, only when switched onThe two essential cookies are set only by the company app — when you sign in, or while you create a company — and can't be read by scripts in the page. This website sets no cookies of its own, and neither does the vendor quote link.
The Google Analytics cookies are set only while analytics is switched on. When it is off, the two essential cookies are the only ones Konyx sets.
3. Settings kept in your browser
The company app also keeps two small items in your browser's storage. They are not cookies, they are not sent to Konyx on their own, and clearing your browser's data for the site removes them:
- which voice-input engine works on your device, so it doesn't have to be tried again;
- for up to ten minutes, a request you were writing and the photo you were attaching while your phone's camera was open, so neither is lost when the camera hands you back.
4. Analytics
When analytics is switched on, Google Analytics shows us which pages are visited and which actions are taken, such as asking Konyx or sending an RFQ. We send it page addresses with record numbers and links blanked out, counts and choices (such as how many items an RFQ had), and your account and company as internal codes. It never receives your name, your email address or what you typed.
Google's advertising features are switched off, so none of this is used for ads. Analytics doesn't run on the vendor quote link, and it doesn't run at all if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal.
5. Your choices
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends it — some do by default, others with a setting or an extension — Konyx's analytics doesn't run and sets no cookies.
- Your browser's settings. You can block or delete cookies for konyxai.com and app.konyxai.com, or only Google Analytics' cookies. The website works without any cookies; blocking the essential ones stops sign-in and creating a company from working.
6. Cookies set by others
Payment for a plan bought online is taken on Stripe's own pages, which set their own cookies under Stripe's privacy policy. No Stripe script runs on Konyx's pages.
Google sets the analytics cookies described above. How Google uses information from sites that use its services explains what it does with them.
7. Changes to this policy
When the cookies we use change, we update this page and the date at the top.
